About the Role

Roe-Burke Veterinary Services in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, is a mixed animal practice that has been servicing small animals, large animals, and exotics since 1991. We’re a hardworking and growing practice looking for a Veterinarian to join our collaborative team.

We welcome doctors of all experience levels who are looking for a practice where they have the opportunity to build strong relationships with their teammates and clients. Our tenured doctors can provide a positive learning environment with plenty of opportunities for knowledge-building and growth. A more experienced doctor would enjoy our team-oriented doctor team and a variety of cases.

Mentorship

 

For new grads who join our team, we invest our time to ensure you get the support, time, and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:

  • Shadowing our doctors, talking through medical cases, and 1-on-1 surgical training.
  • Structured orientation and mentorship program
  • Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.
  • New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.
  • Slack group discussions to connect you with additional experienced vets for case reviews, connection, and advice.

Hardinsburg boasts plenty of fun activities for all seasons! We are a rural community with several outdoor activities including boating, fishing, kayaking, and public beaches. Rough River Lake is located just minutes away from our practice. Located just one hour from Louisville, KY, you have easy access to big city amenities making for a great day trip experience!
